Our Approach
Our mission is to help children gain independence by developing social and self-help skills
(e.g. dressing and feeding) by strengthening their development of fine motor, sensory processing,
and visual motor skills. We focus on each child’s individuality and what motivates them to learn.
Our goal is to have children enjoy therapy through the use of play so they are able to bloom
and grow. Play is the most important occupation for children because this is how they learn to
develop future skills.
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy addresses the everyday “occupations” of life. For children, this includes play, socialization, activities of daily living (feeding, dressing, toileting, self care tasks), fine motor skills, and cognitive function to increase learning. As pediatric occupational therapists, it is our goal to help your child increase their independence and functionality in these areas.
